How do I use a PS2 guitar controller to play a dvd?

I can’t select an option from the dvd menu with the buttons. My friend brought movies and guitars for guitar hero, but no PS2 controller. The strum changes the line I’m on in the dvd menu but when it goes to “play” I can’t select it….

I am sure there is a way but why?!?

you can use your controller, also as cheap as they are, go to gamestop and buy an official or a Gamestop brand DVD remote for 9-19 bucks depending on the brand

Best learn to play the guitar book and easy to understand?

Best learn to play the guitar book and easy to understand? I’ve gone way past the beginner stuff, and can’t find any more free stuff online. I’m looking for a book that is mainly about improvising.
My inspiration is matthew bellamy from muse if that helps…

is it ok to play a guitar upside-down and flip the strings around if your left-handed?

or does that cause some sort of technical issue or bad sound quality.

thats how the guitar god JIMI HENDRIX played his entire life man. its ok to do that, but it would be LOTS better to get a lefty instead

Can you play guitar hero songs if you dont have them downloaded?

Like say if I had a downloaded song but my friend didn’t, can he play the song online with me?

Actually no, if you’re playing guitar hero online you can only play songs that you both have downloaded. Only songs that you both have will show up.

What are good “how to play guitar” youtube videos?

What are some good youtube videos that teach you how to play guitar from the beginning? My brother got a guitar for christmas, got frustrated, and hasn’t picked it up since.
So, I want to learn.
I already know treble clef and base clef, because I play piano.

Youtube don’t have any advanced ones, but I’m sure that any major library also loans out videos teaching how to play the guitar. I got a few DVDs there..
Else, there’s plenty elsewhere on the internet, through torrents especially.

Hope you’ll find some.. Oh, and PS.. In my opinion, it’s a lot more fun just to play without having someone to tell you what to play.. But that’s only my opinion.. I’m not learning as much as I could have, but it’s way more fun :]
