Does any body know the best free app on i pod touch/ iphone for learning to play the guitar?
I want to have a free app on my itouch for learning to play guitar
Well there isn’t a great free app for this. There is pocket guitar for .99 (near free?) and there is youtube where you can watch thousands of guitar instructional videos.
Pocket guitar is about as close to free as you are going to get, but youtube really is free!

Application to Auto Play Guitar Hero - with Arduino
i really need some help im trying to play sweet child o mine the solo is the next part im working on and i hit the fast quadtuplets. can someone give me some advice or even some techiqiue on how to play fast on the guitar so i can get this over with.
Years of practice, that’s what makes you play fast nothing else, there are exercises that you can do to teach your fingers to move faster but that takes time, that’s the thing about guitar learning nothing happens fast, your hand and finger muscels have to be trained to move fast and correctly. One exercise that helps increase your speed is this : start with your first finger on the first string first fret, and then the second finger second fret and so on, leave your finger on the fret until the fourth, and then start over on the second string continue this until your done all six strings, for about a half hour a day, longer when your used to it, after a couple of weeks of doing this come down to the fifth fret and start over the same as from the first to the fourth, do this until your able to work in all eight frets, eventually you’ll be able to do this up and down the fret board. There is nothing else that will make you play faster, just a lot of practice and hard work. I’ve been teaching guitar for years and believe me if there was a short cut I’d know about it. It’s just like learning to read, you didn’t accomplich that in a few months right ? I remember one kid that came to my house for lessons with a book, he never played guitar before, and he said that he wanted to play Stairway to Heaven before he left, I didn’t say anything I just started to teach him how to play and and wow was he in for a shock, he soon learned that that wasn’t going to happen, by the time he learned the C scale his fingers were killing him, so he figured that he better start from the beginning, he couldn’t get over all the things that you had to learn, and he thought that he’d be able to change chords with no problem, well he soon found out that it wasn’t as easy as he thought !!!! So my suggestion to you is to take your time, you’ll play it better if you learn it slowly, and then fast when you know it by heart. I play classical guitar and just recently got an acoustic and Sweet Child of Mine, by G’s and R’s is one of my favorites I think I’ll still love that when I’m old and gray, good luck to you, but remember go slow, what’s the hurry, most kids that learn fast don’t play well, they get half way through a song and then forget it, that’s because they didn’t learn it correctly from the start, if you learn it slowly it will stick in your head better, try it and you’ll see that I’m right, do you think Slash learned to play fast, I bet it took him years to play the way he does, I think he is either a genius or has perfect pitch, because he doesn’t even know how to read music, what a talent, good luck, maybe I’ll see you on youtube someday, AND FORGET ABOUT GOING FAST !!!!!!
