How to play guitar tabs on piano…I’m Confused..Please Answer?
I’m trying to learn a song with guitar tabs, which worked before, until i ran into chords i have no idea how to play.
How do you play these chords on the piano ???
Cadd9
Em7 ??
Please help….
Cadd9 means you play a C chord with a D note in it.
That could be C - E - G - D or C - D - E - G
And Em7 is and E minor chord with a 7th added (remember a 7 is actually a flatted 7 unless is is specified as a major 7.
That would be E - G - B - D
The notes are the same in chords whether on the piano or guitar. The main difference is that on the guitar you have the possibility of choosing different voicings (order of the notes like my first example) and different positions. On the piano you don’t have as many choices.

GUITAR LESSON: Learn How to Play the Phrygian Mode! Spanish-Flamenco Guitar
hi im getting an acoustic guitar soon and wonderered if its worth getting a left handed guitar which are hard to locate or learning to play right handed any ideas guys?
As a left-handed guitarist myself, I learnt right-handed, the correct way. The advantage of being left-handed and playing right-handed is in the left hand itself.
Because you are left-handed, that means that you have a good strong hand which is so important for pull-off, hammer-on, finger-tapping . You will have more endurance and more speed because it is easier to cheat with the right hand. You can do single-stroke picking and play 4 notes with the left hand by doing pull-offs and will sound as if you have picked all the note.
That is up to you. I graduated from Berklee and ended up teaching there. I never regretted playing right-handed and actually found it a blessing to make the left hand work more than the right hand. Other guitarist don’t have that luxury and many are left-handed and plkay right-handed but won’t advertise it.
