I have Guitar Hero in Playstation 3. Can i play it online with a Wii user?
I have Guitar Hero World Tour in Playstation 3 and i know that there is a Wii version of that game also. Can we play the game online from Playstation 3 with Wii?
No. Thanks to the gaming industry being so competitive Nintendo and Sony will probably never hold hands and work together for anything. There would also be other hurdles to overcome for programmers wanting to interlink consoles. If memory serves correctly ff online was one of the only games I know of to do that.

Well there isn’t a great free app for this. There is pocket guitar for .99 (near free?) and there is youtube where you can watch thousands of guitar instructional videos.
Pocket guitar is about as close to free as you are going to get, but youtube really is free!

Where can I find some good free Guitar Tab software?
Im just starting out on the guitar and everyone is telling me to learn how to play tabs on the guitar. I have looked at them and can play them a little bit but someone told me that there is software that will help you to learn. Anyone know where I can find it or what it is?

I don’t know about the software, but I can give you some other instructional material.
First here is a link to a video lesson at Youtube. This guy has a series of 12 lessons there. He covers the basics very well. You can learn a lot from him.
My headphones can’t play mp3 and wav files. But Guitar pro softwares work. What should I do?
I was about to play my playlist in my computer when I found out that no sound was coming from my headphones! Windows Media Player works though.
When I tried running some of my Guitar Pro software files, they can be heard from my hedaphones!!! As in they sound perfectly!!! Why?!?!?!
But when I tried playing games from miniclip.com, no sound still comes out of my headphones. THe settings were not muted, but my headphones still dont;t work.
Here’s a summary:

Guitar Pro: Works
Game Sounds from Internet: Doesn’t Work
What should I do? Please help me.. As soon as possible.. THanx!!!
Go to Start/Control Panel/Sounds and Audio Devices and when the Properties window box opens up, then click on the Advanced button under the Volume Tab and this will open the Master Volume box. Look at the column under the Wave heading and make sure to UN-CHECK the Mute box and slide the Volume slider to the top for max volume. Then X out of all open windows and try one of the files that were not working before - hopefully this will have fixed your problem. If, when you open this box the Wave Mute checkbox already is unchecked and the volume slider is at the top then the problem lies elsewhere. EVERYBODY and i mean EVERYBODY (including myself) messes up a lot when they start at the point in which some of them think they suck
and after that you still mess up
but that “omg i suck” thing just goes away

keep practicing (don’t overpractice though, 30 - 60 mins a day or several whiles a day is okay)

Your best option to learn to play guitar, learn basic music theory, and play by notation is by getting Hal Leonard’s Beginner Guitar Method Book One at your local music store. It costs about $6.50, and with a CD, about $7.50.
Also, pick up a chord book that lists at least 2,500 chords and their accompanying music notation written chords.
I want to learn to play the guitar but I have zero musical experience and in fact probably the equivalent of challenged when it comes to music. Where do I start? What kind of guitar should I get and should I teach myself by reading online or should I pay for a teacher. I really have no idea where to begin.
its expensive but get a teacher. don’t be afraid to change and find one who you get along with they should be your friend aswel. get a guitar suited to the style you want. electric i would advise a cheap stratocaster acoustic i would advise the make falcon. start on a cheap guitar then as you get better buy a more expensive one. and finally just practice practice PRACTICE.
I lost my zeal to play music (my guitar and keyboard) how do I get my zeal back for performing music?
I have been playing guitar since 12 and keyboards since 17. I am experienced in studio work, have written songs that appeared on other peoples projects and have performed live.
Watch something for some inspiration.. or maybe even just take a break from playing.
Guitar Envy #1: How to play “guitar” on piano/keyboard
Does anyone know what technique I would use to play the guitar quickly with my fingers? I would like to play those “fast” songs like Cliffs of Dover, etc. on my guitar, but don’t like the sound of the pick, so I want to learn to play fast with my fingers. What kind of technique would I use?
well, u could simply go up and down the guitar, starting on the low E, playing 1234, as in, ur 1st finger on the 1st fret, 2nd on the 2nd, and so on, then go down string by string till u get to the high E, then, u SHIFT to the right one, so when u play 1234, ur 1st finger is on the 2nd fret, then u go back all up, then shift and continue, go all the way to the very last fret on ur guitar and keeping on increasing ur pace when u feel like u’ve got the hang of it, its a but tedious, but its a great work out. if u want something more interesting, then learn the scales and do the same thing, go up….then all the way down again. being able to play those songs takes LOTS of practice, so don;t be discouraged if u feel like ur too slow, just PRACTICE! good luck! :]
p.s i forgot to add, in my opinion, i think u should stay with the pick, as most metal songs if not all, are by picking, finger picking is only for classical music, flamengo, etc. just stick with the pick! at first, i played with my fingers, then someone said i should try playing with a pick, at first, i found it hard and awkward, but in the long run, it was better for me and i found to prefer it a lot more than finger picking, so keep on picking!
