Why is it so hard to play guitar standing up OMGosh?

ok..i can play electric guitar great sitting down..but everytime i play standing up..i always screw up WAY more than sitting down…its like my wrist is strained and my picking hand it inaccurate …etc

sadly yes. i think that it is caused by the fact that when you are standing up, you cant reach the frets as well because you are more parallel to the strings rather than over them, if that makes any sense
